BRAVO IN A BIG WAY! BILOXI, WHO NEEDS BROADWAY?    KNS has done it again...first, Sound of Music, Patsy Cline and now, Jekyll and Hyde. The talent on the Mississippi coast continues to amaze me. WOW...what a treat. There is nothing amateur about KNS theatre productions. Every show brings me to my feet. My ovations for KNS are endless.

On April 5 I saw the KNS production of “Jekyll & Hyde” at the Saenger Theatre. This local production was as good as the plays I have seen in London and on Broadway. Such a talented cast and such wonderful voices. I was so impressed that we have this type of quality musical on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

David - Biloxi
We had a GREAT time at Jekyll & Hyde.  I was so impressed with the production quality as well as the
tremendous talent on stage.  Far exceeded my expectations.  Thanks for a wonderful show.

Cecil W. Vincent
I was most impressed by your Jekyll & Hyde the Musical. Sitting on the 2nd row I could easily see the intense brilliant vocal performances by all the lead actors in fantastic makeup and costume. It has become crystal clear KNS Theatre has put a higher standard on their productions and have the ability to carry out whatever direction they want to go. Most notable in this innovative musical thriller was the powerful full stage 4 & 5 part harmony from the company. Wow! This same cast and stage crew would do wonders with a Sweeney Todd, Les Miserable's or even Rent! Please keep them coming.

Karole Waldorf- Mobile, Al.
I have seen many Broadway Shows and this production was far better than most of them.  This did not appear to be a community theatre production...it was far more professional appearing. The directors/actors/orchestra were all exquisite. I am from Mobile and there NEVER has been anything like this here...Excellent and please, please, bring it back. and advertise in Mobile too....this was too good to drop with three shows...we hunger for more...The Gulf Coast has taken some bad hits and we need what you have done with this production repeated, to show America we may be knocked down but our young people can rise above and beyond. Thank you. .

Mrs. Milford Calhoun
Please, Please bring Jekyll and Hyde back because we were at an out of town wedding. I saw The Sound of Music and Patsy Cline with my seniors group and loved them. They said this was even better.

George Mills
Very Good production...I had the misfortune of seeing Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway with David Hasslehoff. It was Bad! Your Jekyll was million times better. Bravo!

Mary Taranto
I agree Jekyll & Hyde should extend because so many people have ask me about it and last weekend so much was going on to compete with it. It was such a magnificent production with the wonderful singing, costumes and sound that it is worthy of another run for sure. The best talent in any of your shows I've seen at the Saenger!

Debbie Smith Ocean Springs
The show was fantastic…my friends and I hope it will play again. We have soooo many friends that want to see it! A show to remember!

Manute' Bordis
I saw what people have been saying and wanted to put my 2 cents in. Joel Herr was magical in the lead role, what a talent and why isn't he in NY. Amber Mills has mad vocal skills and so sexy! Tara Rhoads has the sweetest look & voice and then Chad Gibson is the total pkg. Strong! These young people should continue to wow show after show as the new generation theatre names to watch on the coast. Ms Dalgo is remarkable in what she can do with these large casts. Can't wait to see what she does next.

John Harris - Bay St. Louis
BRAVO!!!!BRAVO!!!!MOST PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE EVER ON THE GULF
COAST...WONDERFUL...WE ATTENDED FRIDAY NIGHT'S PERFORMANCE AND I TOLD
EVERYONE I KNOW TO ATTEND SAT OR SUN....I WOULD GO AGAIN ...THANK YOU FOR OFFERING IT TO THE PUBLIC.

Suzanne Martin Coldwell Banker United Realtors
Just wanted to comment on the recent play you guys and gals put on.  It was not my first but I took my mother and it was her first kns production and she was floored she said she didn't know the gulf coast had so much local talent and the it was equal to off Broadway--she and I both have been to Broadway together!  We all enjoyed Jekyll & Hyde!! Encore! Encore!

Alice Barlow
We just loved Jekyll & Hyde!  What acting! The singing knocked me out!  We would love to attend another production.

Doc D'Aquin
Jekyll & Hyde was a terrific show, with a excellent cast, and great talent. Congratulations.

Ann Larkin, Gulfport
I attended the Friday night performance and awesome is one of the words I'd use to describe it.  I saw the original production in Oct.95 at the Shubert Theater in New Haven, CT before opening on Broadway in 97.  KNS's performance was equally as good if not better and that says a lot.  Everything was A+ inc. the set design, the costumes, the acting, the music, the orchestra.  I could go on and on, can't wait for the next show.

Robert Bowie Gautier
I was skeptical at first, but Jekyll & Hyde was amazing. I left with a huge smile on my face. The acting & singing was great and I could hear everything very clear. I could tell much hard work went into this show.

What will top this??? Jekyll and Hyde was spec-tac-u-lar!!!!!!!I hear an encore may be coming. It will sell out now that the word is out on how amazing it was.

John Allen Marketing Director WLOX-TV
I've never been one for musicals - having been weaned on high school productions of Oklahoma and the ilk, I've tended to shy away from anything even hinting at "musical". My wife, however, loves them to the point that if challenged, a random stranger on the street would take fewer than five seconds to locate some Broadway recording of a musical in her car. So, it was with some bit of trepidation on my part, and great expectations on her part, that we went to see KNS Theatre's production of Jekyll and Hyde, the musical. Neither of us was disappointed. Simply put, it was amazing. The amazing talent, preparation, and hard work that the cast and crew put into bringing the show together were immediately visible (and audible).  The singing was at times strong, beautiful, remorseful, and brutal. Joel Herr captured the distinct personas and portrayed them perfectly, switching between the roles quickly and perfectly. The supporting cast was similarly amazing and showed their passion and abilities with a grace and presence that impressed both me (the musical skeptic) and my wife (the Broadway aficionado. Fantastic and amazing. Thanks for the great performance - and I look forward to more!

Michael and Tania Bayne - Ocean Springs
I have seen quite a few Broadway plays in both New York City and Los Angeles and felt the talent in KNS's Jekyll & Hyde was simply outstanding. I believe at least two or three of the males and females could perform on Broadway. My wife and I truly enjoyed the performance.

Lorraine & Roger McCormick

We moved here 8 years ago and have seen every KNS Production since then.  Each production leaves us wanting more...not only are they as good as any touring "Broadway" production; your casts seem to always provide us with  new, fresh faces that are unbelievably talented. We talk up every show to our
friends...and encourage them to attend the best entertainment value on the  Coast.  Bring back "Jekyll and Hyde" and we'll see it again! (We went to "Sound  of Music" at the Saenger and the Coliseum.) Thank you so much...

Robert Fox - Senior Account Executive/Cable One
Congratulations KNS Theatre on Jekyll & Hyde. What a show! We are proud to help sponsor your great musicals.

Penelope Olivier - Gulfport
The performance was excellent and so professional.  I felt like I was watching it on Broadway.

Helen Harkey, Ocean Springs
I saw Jekyll &Hyde in New Orleans w/original cast before it went to Broadway. I loved it and was emotionally moved and bought soundtrack.  KNS did a wonderful job re-creating this experience for me again. The cast was perfect and Joel Herr was fantastic!! Loree Dalgo did a wonderful job of casting and directing........Look forward to many more quality productions by KNS. P.S. An encore would be much appreciated!!

Jekyll & Hyde by far the best show that has been here on the coast. The bar has been set very high with this one.

Shawn David - Ocean Springs
Jekyll and Hyde was an incredible major production that will be talked about forever. Loree Dalgo and her casts continue to move closer to the professional ranks. KNS Theater could easily fill the Saenger 4 or 5 times a year with these wonderful events. Thank you!

Virginia Yeager
Fantastic musical. Hard to believe they are just local people that do this for the love of it. Certainly pro-quality.

Leigh Coleman, editor/publisher Ocean Springs Record Newspaper
Hands down the best performance I have seen in decades. KNS Theatre’s production of "Jekyll and Hyde The Musical" was both an emotionally rich revival for the soul and a journey into history. The cast delivered true feelings of anguish, joy, and determination. The visuals were intense and the acting more polished and real than expected off Broadway and here on the Coast. This wonderfully choreographed and acted production made my heart spin and the audience was gripped by the story and not distracted by the acting in a play. KNS has outdone themselves with this one. Bring it back again!

Raymond May Clear Channel Communications, Inc.
Jekyll & Hyde was OFF THE CHARTS!  Congrats to all of you!

M. Collins
Wow! Wow! Wow! Tonight’s performance of Jekyll & Hyde at the Saenger was the best musical I have seen there! KNS really took a big step by doing such a hard Broadway show and superbly making it seem like they wrote it. Great job Joel, Amber, Tara, Chad and of course Loree!

Marion Arnold
Jekyll & Hyde was engaging, and wonderfully sung and acted. So professional! We are blessed to have a community group like KNS that continues to impress with these types of stellar performances for our young people to be involved with!

R.D. Ross
We are a group of friends associated with the theatre organizations HCLO, HLT, BRCT & USM that drove down from Hattiesburg and Jackson for your Jekyll & Hyde. We were blown away with the professional caliber on every level. Truly a “knockout performance”! Two words for KNS Theatre: “Les Miserable’s”

Bobby & Kande Steele
A true delight in theater!!  Jekyll & Hyde was so professional we forgot we were not on Broadway!  Congratulations Loree and the amazing cast and tech crew for an OUTSTANDING job!  Kudos to the Sound guys - exceptional!!

Dee Sanders

Jekyll and Hyde was so exciting! I know there was an encore of the Sound of Music…I hope one is being talked about for this one. It is so good for the Coast’s performing arts!

Jeremy S. Withers
Jekyll & Hyde knocked it out of the park! BUT!!! WHY ONLY THREE SHOWS?? Bring it Back?

S. Allen
Congrats to KNS and director Loree Dalgo! Did not prepare to see such a gorgeous rendition of Jekyll & Hyde but, Oh did we ever! The vocalists were spectacular!! Harmony Plus and so professional!!

The Mobile Theatre Guild applauds KNS Theatre. Have heard many great things about your company for years and finally got to see one unbelievable performance of this very complex musical with Jekyll & Hyde.

Lacey Barrett
Congratulations KNS. I missed The Sound of Music last year and heard nothing but rave reviews. Jekyll & Hyde was sensational and floored me and everyone we were with. I look forward to auditioning with you in the future.

Wanda Sullivan
BRAVO!  KNS Theatre on Jekyll and Hyde.  The best by a mile! Loree Dalgo once again chose a super talented cast and worked them into a tight-knit professional performance worthy of Broadway. Joel Herr was amazing!

J. Garner
Talent, Style, Class, Direction, Desire, and Commitment  all shown bright in tonight’s performance of Jekyll and Hyde. The Best!

Kit McCarthy
KNS Theatre’s Jekyll & Hyde was like a concert event. Joel Herr was great as Dr. Jekyll.  I really liked it.

Lisa Jukes
A quick note of thanks for the wonderful performance of “Jekyll & Hyde – The Musical”.   The high quality musicians, together with beautiful scenery in a historic theatre, gave us the feeling that we experienced Broadway.   Congratulations on a job well done.

Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour

“Like all Mississippians, Marsha and I recognize the tremendous value of the performing arts to our culture and quality of life. I can think of no better way for KNS Theatre to celebrate its 20th anniversary than with this first post-Katrina season, which sends a very strong message that resonates across the state. The message is, “We’re back!” Congratulations!”

Biloxi Mayor A. J. Holloway

“KNS Theatre has been an integral part of the performing arts scene in Biloxi and on the Gulf Coast for many years, and the many performers and thespians involved with KNS have distinguished themselves time and again with outstanding performances. The performing arts are an important aspect of the quality of life in a community, and we are indeed fortunate to have had KNS and such dedicated individuals in our midst through the years. I congratulate KNS on its many achievements, and encourage my fellow citizens to continue to support this premier organization.”

Ocean Springs Mayor Connie Moran
“The City of Ocean Springs applauds KNS Theatre for 20 years of success in the Arts Community and for recovering from such tremendous losses from Hurricane Katrina.  We appreciate your efforts and continuing contribution to the arts on the coast.  Take a bow!

Gulfport Mayor Brent Warr
“It is my honor and pleasure to congratulate KNS Theatre on their 20th anniversary of providing quality entertainment on the Gulf Coast. With the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, so much of our cultural heritage and entertainment venues have been washed away. We salute the men and women of KNS Theatre for persevering to insure the continuation of live, stage entertainment for our residents to enjoy. Best of luck to you as you celebrate 20 years of theatre. You have fulfilled your mission insuring that the show must go on! I look forward to seeing each of you this theatre season.”

Recording Artist, Broadway Star, Sam Harris
"I send best wishes for Loree and the KNS entire company...Break A Leg!"

Pam Firmin, The Sun Herald
“KNS Theatre makes some magic with its 20th Anniversary production of The Sound of Music.”

Biloxi Saenger Theatre Manager, Ron Chester
“The KNS Theatre production of The Sound of Music generated the most responses before and after a show I’ve seen since I have been here. Because of the sellouts, many people missed this wonderful family show. I am glad the Mississippi Coast Coliseum was able to get them in for an encore performance on May 17.”

Former KNS cast member featured on Broadway in Hairspray Ryan Chotto
“KNS Theatre has provided great opportunities for individuals living across the Mississippi Gulf Coast to participate in musical theatre. I personally was cast in several productions which gave me great experience and allowed me to realize that I wanted to do theatre as a profession. I thank Loree Dalgo for her encouragement. At age 12, Ms Loree helped me get back into dance and even drove me to where she was teaching at the time, to observe the classes. I may not be where I am today without her words of encouragement!”

Matt McDonnell, assistant executive director of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
“The Mississippi Coast Coliseum is excited to be bringing The Sound of Music back for one final performance on May 17th. The success that this show achieved at the Saenger Theater in March definitely caught our attention. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is loaded with talent and this theatre company has a proven track record. It is great to be a part of bringing this local theater to the largest stage in South Mississippi,”

Ocean Springs High School Drama Teacher Sandra Camphor

“Absolutely one of the best performances I've ever seen!  The whole cast was fabulous!  Very professional and fun to watch.”

Mary Parrish - Biloxi
“What an exciting show. No one can touch your productions. I know many who worked on this show and only great things were said about the Dalgo's and KNS. It should be fun with no drama! (pun) Keep it up...Bravo”

Christina Maddalozzo - Slidell, LA
“The Sound of Music show was amazing to see in person and was one of the best shows I've seen.  Every performer had talent and were very accurate.”

“We attended Saturday night's production of "The Sound of Music" and it was fantastic!  So many talented people here on the Gulf Coast.  It was a most enjoyable evening - worthy of Broadway!”

Adrianne Burney - Ocean Springs

“I LOVED IT!  I never thought I'd enjoy it as much as I did. I thought I'd be embarrassed for singing along--but it was so much fun!  Everyone was great!”

Rebecca Smith
I just wanted to let you know how much my family and I enjoyed your beautiful production of "The Sound of Music". The cast was excellent (my brother liked your cast better than the film's cast!) and just did a wonderful job.

M.Wilson - Ocean Springs
Bravo KNS Theatre! I went last night and was mesmerized by The Sound of Music. What a performance. Megan Gray, Keith, the children, nuns everybody...BRAVO!!!!!!BRAVO!!!!!!BRAVO!!!!!! I know of the Dalgo's loss and can't even imagine what they recently went through and still kept it together. That’s why I applaud an amazing job of staying strong and finishing A Brilliant Jewel! I have seen, and paid good money, on touring company plays that can't come close.

Betty D’Angelo - Pass Christian
I went with our church group and we were so shocked with the quality of the performance...it was like Broadway!

Carla Arsaga - Gulfport
The Sound of Music was a great show - congratulations!

Betty McCarroll
This was our first experience with KNS.  My daughter, Mollie McCarroll, was in the Nun chorus and had a fantastic time.  You were all so professional.  She and I will never forget it.  I will be singing the Sound of Music "music" for months to come.  It is my all-time favorite musical and I absolutely enjoyed all three performances.  Thank you for bringing it to life on stage.

A. Johnson - Vancleave Elementary
Thank you so much for allowing us to attend! Our students thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you again and we are looking very forward to your future productions.
